ICONS NYC + IST
Exhibition
The ICONS NYC + IST exhibition, presented by Istanbul’74 and ‘74NY, debuted in New York at Misela Bond Street, curated by Demet Muftuoglu Eseli. Then, select works were shown at Harper’s Books, East Hampton, curated by Marianna Levine.
The exhibition is a series of 52 original watercolors depicting street culture, personal style, and architectural landmarks. The work centers on cross-cultural connections found in a shared visual language between New York City and Istanbul.
